I think I was in fifth or sixth grade at the time of this picture. That was at least 54 years ago, putting mom and dad in the early 30's range...32-33 maybe.(By the way, mom made the dress I am wearing, and probably Carol's, too. It was one of my favorites.)
Mom was 32 according to my birth certificate so I'd say she she was 33 :)

If I remember Hector had mostly a black face...I don't think that's him...besides he bit me when I was small, was I even born yet in this pic?
I remember when you got bit...wasn't it on the hand ? I seem to remember that the "stuffing" in your hand was coming out...
Maybe the dog is Buddy ? Who was taking the picture ? Grandma ?
Maybe the dog was "Mitzie".....I think that was the other dog's name. But the dog seems calm and Mitzie was kinda wild. My guess is Grandma Parsche took the picture and Buddy was with her??????
