For some reason, our family reminds me of the movie "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Christmas used to be perfect, all the family getting together, yes Grandma B was a huge influence and we know she loved (loves) everyone getting together. But there's a hitch now, a grinch in the midst...who's the Cindy Lou that get's us all back together, and where, and when? Where and when is hard, we all have our separate families that we want to spend time with, how do we extend this beyond once again? We need a Whoville celebration.

This Christmas had to really stir Terri Jo as she was so young.....she was only about 10 years old.
She really discribed Christmas's at Grandma's like I remember them all to be....to bad those days are gone.
So how do we get those days back ? We were all brought up with the same values and traditions..if we don't have each other, then we have no one.
Well, I think we need some suggestions....

Well said Sue....we just need to find that neutral time and place and the love in our hearts to put some of the family politics behind us.
